JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Coordinate and handle a range of admissions issues, including international admissions, good moral character, Standards and Ethics courses requirement, membership status, membership applications and Associate member outreach.
Provide high quality customer service to Associate members primarily regarding issues above. Maintain knowledge of complex Admissions regulations, policies, procedures, AQB requirements, etc., to intelligently and accurately communicate information to Associate members in a clear and concise manner. Work closely, and maintain excellent rapport with Manager, Specialists and other staff to ensure completion of all tasks in a customer service oriented team environment.

JOB DUTIES:
- International Admissions. Coordinate international admissions issues generally, such as:
- Interfacing and coordinating with admissions staff who handle individual designation requirements for Associate members outside the United States
- Interfacing and coordinating with other departments involved in international activities
- Interfacing with the Admissions and Designation Qualifications Committee (ADQC) regarding international admissions issues
- Identifying applicable standards of practice in countries outside the United States where Associate members are seeking to fulfill designation requirements
- Identifying unique factors in countries outside the United States that may impact admissions procedures and requirements, and recommending adjustments as appropriate
- Interacting with Associate members outside the United States regarding admissions and designation requirements generally
- Good moral character. Review admissions applications where good moral character issue may exist, identify and obtain necessary information, coordinate review of issues (e.g., working with screeners, committees, legal counsel, etc.).
- Membership applications. Process all new Associate and Affiliate member applications, including but not limited to identifying appropriate requirements (paths) to designation, equivalencies, payments, and contact information.
- Ethics and Standards Education Requirement. Coordinate and implement enforcement of Standards and Ethics course requirements for Associate Members.
- Member Status Change Applications. Address membership category and status issues (i.e., student status, Non-Practicing, Temp Non-Practicing, Masters Degree Program students, Trainees, aspiring trainees).
- Monitor Admissions email box and respond to correspondence as appropriate
- Serve as back-up in responding to telephone inquiries from Associate members regarding admissions and designation requirements.
- Identify ideas for streamlining all admissions procedures.
- Pro-actively identify Associate Members close to designation and conduct pro-active outreach, encouraging and helping them fulfill final requirements for designation.
- Serve as liaison to Chapters with admissions questions and issues.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Processes reimbursement forms for all international relations.
- Other duties or projects as assigned by Manager, or Director.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effectively relating to AI members and the public
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service/problem solving skills
- Empathy and understanding for members experiencing difficulty in completing designation requirements
- Ability to analyze business problems and develop effective solutions
- Adept at using technology and able to suggest technological efficiencies in everyday operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Multi-lingual desirable
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years office/customer service experience (association experience preferred).
MACHINE, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT (Office and Industrial), SOFTWARE:
- Windows NT
- PC experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to operate test management software (Examiner)
OTHER:
Required to work flexible hours to ensure 8a to 6p CST coverage and overtime as needed.
