Celebrating 10 Years of Service: Jimmy Driskill
Congratulations to Jimmy Driskill! He celebrates his 10th anniversary at the Appraisal Institute this year.
What positions have you held at the Appraisal Institute?
Jimmy:
I started with the Appraisal Institute in 1999 as a Coordinator in the Instructors area. After a restructure in the Education department later that year, I was moved to Team Leader, Education Network Services. My focus was shifted back to instructors and I was appointed as staff liaison to the Education Committee. In December 2006, I moved from the Education department to my current position in Membership - Manager, Designated Member Services.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Jimmy: Much progress has been made in the communication of CE requirements to designated members. Regulation 10 has changed in the past few years and the Designated Member Services area has been working to keep designated members informed of newer requirements, as well as requirements that are already in place. I am very proud of our area as we continue to find ways to effectively communicate to our members.
In my last position, I worked on many instructor training programs. I took pride in working with committee members, AI instructors and staff to accomplish a successful instructor program.
What do you enjoy most about working for the Appraisal Institute?
Jimmy: It seems to be a common theme, but I have to say that I truly enjoy the people at the Appraisal Institute, both members and staff. Throughout the years, I have been lucky to develop relationships with some of the best people on the planet!
Do you have a "fondest AI memory"? If so, please share.
Jimmy: Anybody who knows me knows that my fondest memory is driving the truck to Minneapolis for national meetings. Oh, and hogging the karaoke mike at company outings.
