The Affiliate and Student Affiliate category are opened to those interested in property economics but who do not provide any Service(s) as defined by the Code of Professional Ethics (CPE), which include appraisal, appraisal review, appraisal consulting, mass appraisal, and real property consulting. Affiliates share in the interests and concerns of the appraisal profession but do not provide Service(s) as defined by the Code of Professional Ethics.
Note: Student Affiliates must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit semester hours at an accredited college or university.
All Designated members, Candidates for Designation, and Practicing Affiliates are required to fulfill Appraisal Institute continuing education requirements. The Appraisal Institute offers both classroom and online programs that meet Appraisal Institute continuing education (CE) requirements. Our classroom education programs are offered across the U.S. and our online education programs begin on the 1st and 15th of every month.
