The Comprehensive Examination

The General Comprehensive Examination is a 4-part modular exam with multiple-choice questions based upon the body of appraisal knowledge. There are 50 questions in each Module. The exam may cover anything in the Appraisal Institute’s required examinations, current appraisal literature, and the Appraisal Institute Bylaws and Regulations.

Application Deadline: July 23, 2013

November 18-December 21, 2013
Application Deadline: October 7, 2013

1. Attend and pass all required courses/exams

2. Receive credit for the college degree requirement

3. Meet the Ethics and Standards requirement for Candidates (this requirement consists of BOTH Business Practices & Ethics and USPAP/IVS)


Please note: All required examinations must be written at least six weeks prior to the Comp Exam to allow time for grading.
