Solidifi, a Buffalo, N.Y.-based appraisal management company, acquired fellow Buffalo-based AMC Kirchmeyer & Associates, which created the nation’s third largest AMC, Mortgage Daily reported Jan. 7.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Prior to the acquisition, Solidifi already was the nation’s fourth largest AMC and reportedly worked with more than 18,000 appraisers and 30,000 customers. The firm was founded in 2004 and operates in the U.S. and in Canada.

The combined entity will continue to operate from Buffalo under the Solidifi name, Mortgage Daily reported.
