Appraisal Institute’s blog, “Opinions of Value,” was honored May 1 with a Hermes Creative Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The blog received a Gold Award in the electronic, social, interactive media category. Only 19 percent of the contest’s more than 5,600 entries won the Gold
Award for excellence in the marketing and communications industry.
Hermes Creative Awards recognize professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.
Winners were selected from 188 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts: advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono.
This year’s competition drew entries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies and freelance professionals throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries.
The contest is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals; the international organization’s judges are industry professionals who looked for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
