CHICAGO (March 24, 2015) – The Appraisal Institute, the nation’s largest professional association of real estate appraisers, announced today that its 2015 Annual Meeting will take place July 27-29 in Dallas. Registration is now open.

“This year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet,” said Appraisal Institute President M. Lance Coyle, MAI, SRA. “Each year it proves to be the premier event for the real estate valuation profession.”

The three-day event will feature hundreds of real estate professionals from around the world, noteworthy keynote speakers, more than 50 exceptional educational sessions (with state and Appraisal Institute continuing education credit), exhibits of cutting-edge valuation products and services, an awards dinner, networking with peers and opportunities for exploring Dallas.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dewitt Jones, a National Geographic photographer for 20 years, two-time Academy Award-nominated director, author of nine books and a creativity expert. General session speakers will be American Enterprise Institute resident fellow Edward J. Pinto, co-director of AEI’s International Center on Housing Risk, who will speak on “Appraisal Theory: Back to Fundamentals,” and Susan Talley, immediate past chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, who will speak on “Valuing Lawyers: How a Client’s Legal Team Can Improve the Valuation Process.”

The 2015 Appraisal Institute Annual Meeting will take place at the downtown Sheraton Dallas.

The Appraisal Institute has hosted the AI Annual Meeting in its current form since 2011. It has held the event in Las Vegas, San Diego, Indianapolis and Austin, Texas, each year drawing up to nearly 500 attendees, almost three dozen sponsors and exhibitors and featuring expert speakers addressing the most important issues in real estate valuation.
