Fulfill Your State Continuing Education Requirements

The Appraisal Institute can assist you in maintaining your continuing education requirements for your state certification or license. For your specific requirements, contact your state regulatory agency. Then, find Appraisal Institute programs that are approved in your state.


Continuing Education Requirements for Appraisal Institute Designated Members

In order to keep up-to-date with the changing appraisal field, designated members are required to fulfill CE requirements, which are governed by Regulation 10: Continuing Education. View the Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Appraisal Institute Continuing Education.

To retain membership, designated members are required to complete either the 7-hour National USPAP Update Course OR the 15-hour National USPAP Course and exam AND the Business Practices and Ethics course and exam.
