(Practicing MAI, SRPA, SREA Designated members must take this course. SRA, RM members welcome to attend.)

In addition to familiarizing you with the rigorous content and recent developments of residential and general applications covered in the new qualifying education courses required by the AQB, you will apply market analysis and highest and best use concepts and procedures to residential and general examples and problems. Also, cash flow tools, statistical analysis applications, and the breakdown method are applied. A self-assessment at the end of the day evaluates your appraisal strengths as well as determined skill areas in which to seek further knowledge.




Note.

The first day of the course runs longer than typical courses. 8:00-5:00.

      Audience    
  • SRA, RM Designated Members: During each continuing education cycle beginning January 1, 2007 or later, practicing residential Designated Members must attend the first day of the Appraisal Curriculum Overview (8 hours). They are encouraged to attend the second day to receive the full 15 credit hours.
  • MAI, SRPA, SREA Designated Members: During each continuing education cycle beginning January 1, 2007, or later, practicing general Designated Members must attend the first and second day of the Appraisal Curriculum Overview (15 hours).
  • Designated Members who have been granted “nonpracticing member” status are welcome to attend but are not required to do so.
  • Affiliate Members, and nonmembers also are welcome but are not required to attend.


  • Note. Residential Members are encouraged to attend the second day, although attendance is not mandatory.

    Beginning 4 weeks before the offering start date, program material will be shipped directly to the student. If this material has been shipped and you request a registration cancellation, a call tag will be issued for the return of this material. A registration refund will not be issued until the material has been returned.


    Program materials will be shipped directly to the student. If you do not receive your materials within 5 days before the offering start date, please call the sponsor to inform them.

    Class will be held in Room 1022 (1st floor of Building 2) at UMD Shady Grove. Click the links below for a campus map and building floor plan.

    Schedule:
    Registration begins at 7:30am.
    Seminar is from 8am-5pm on the first day, 9am-5pm on the second day with one half-hour for lunch (on your own) both days. There are cafeterias located in Buildings 2 and 3.
