Course Materials and Hours
Onsite check-in will begin at 8:00a.m. on Thursday, January 9. The course will run from 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. on January 9 and from 8:30a.m. – 4:00p.m. on Friday, January 10 immediately followed by the 1-hour multiple choice course exam. Participants registered two weeks prior to the offering will be sent their course materials in advance. Express shipping may be available; fee applies.
LAPTOPS ARE NOT REQUIRED. An HP-12C calculator and the HP-12C calculator user’s manual are required. Students must be familiar with the calculator operations when the course begins. The in-class and homework problems and solutions will utilize this calculator exclusively. For additional help with the HP-12C calculator, take our online seminar, Using Your Financial Calculator. Attendees should bring paper and pen/pencil for taking notes and completing the in-class exercises. A No. 2 pencil is needed for the multiple choice exam. Students should bring their own pencils and notepads to class.

Education Credit Hours
Full (100%) attendance is required for education credit; partial credit not available.
Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) and successful completion of the course exam enable Designated, Candidates for Designation and Affiliates to receive 15 hours of continuing education credit; 14 hours of continuing education credit for full (100%) attendance only (no exam). Partial credit is not available. Candidates for Designation seeking credit toward designation must have full (100%) attendance and successfully complete the course exam.
BREA Basic/Qualifying: Residential Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use is approved for 15 hours of BREA basic/qualifying education credit (#08754123) toward initial licensing/certification with full (100%) attendance and successful completion of the course exam.
BREA Continuing: Residential Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use is approved for 14 hours (#08754123) of BREA CEC for licensed/certified appraisers seeking renewal credit. Full (100%) attendance is required. Successful completion of the course exam is not required for BREA CEC.

Verification of Attendance
Verification of attendance will be sent directly to you via email from our National Office in Chicago. Attendees should allow 15 working days for receipt of these results. Watch for an email from "firstname.lastname@example.org". The Chapter Office does not receive copies of your results. Those in need of Express Verification should complete the Express Grading Request Form (link provided below) with appropriate payment to the National Office prior to the conclusion of this offering.
Dress in Layers
Meeting room temperatures are often difficult to control. Therefore, for your comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers.
Written cancellations can be faxed to the Chapter Office at 925-932-7754 or emailed to email@example.com. We reserve the right to substitute instructors, change facilities, to cancel or modify this program if sufficient registrations are not received by December 19 or due to other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, tuition fees will be refunded. All other costs incurred are the registrant’s responsibility.
