Classroom session begins December 9
- November 11 - Course's online session available (28 days before classroom session begins).
- November 18 - Last day to register for and submit diagnostic test (21 days before classroom session begins)
- November 25 - Last day to receive diagnostic test "Pass" grade (14 days before classroom session begins).
- November 25 - Registration for the course ends (14 days before classroom session begins).
- December 2 - Course's online session ends (7 days before classroom session begins).
- December 9 - Registration: 8:00-8:30AM
- December 9-12 - Class: 8:30AM-5:00PM
- December 13 - Exam: 8:30-11:30AM
REQUIRED MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT
You must be familiar with basic Excel and calculator operation when the course begins. Answers to problems in course material are shown using Excel 2010. Do not come to class expecting to be taught how to use Excel.
Approved for 35 hours (2 pre-class online, 30 classroom hours, 3 exam hours) of continuing education credit from the Appraisal Institute. Approved for 33 hours of continuing education credit from WA State. (Pre-classroom hours not approved by WA State).
Advanced Continuing Education (ACE) Requirement
Completing this advanced education course satisfies the Advanced Continuing Education (ACE) requirement for an MAI, SRPA, SREA, RM, or SRA Designated Member, general or residential Candidate for Designation and general or residential Practicing Affiliates. This course may not be repeated in any subsequent continuing education cycle unless it has been substantially revised, as determined by the Admissions and Designation Qualifications Committee.
CE Credit for Designated Members & Candidates
This program is approved for 1.25 hours of Appraisal Institute CE credit for every hour taken.
100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. This follows Appraiser Qualifications Board minimum criteria requirements. A “classroom hour” is defined as 50 minutes out of each 60 minute segment. A 10-minute break per hour is allowed and a student would still meet the 100% attendance requirement. Students should not be late or leave early; if they are late or leave early, they will not receive credit.
