In addition to familiarizing you with the rigorous content and recent developments of residential applications covered in the new qualifying education courses required by the AQB, you will apply market analysis and highest and best use concepts and procedures to residential examples and problems. A self-assessment at the end of the day evaluates your appraisal strengths as well as determines skill areas in which to seek further knowledge.

  • SRA, RM Designated Members: During each continuing education cycle beginning January 1, 2007 or later, practicing residential Designated Members must attend the first day of the Appraisal Curriculum Overview (8 hours). They are encouraged to attend the second day to receive the full 15 credit hours.
  • Designated Members who have been granted “nonpracticing member” status are welcome to attend but are not required to do so.
  • Associate Members, Affiliate Members, and nonmembers also are welcome but are not required to attend.


  • Note. Residential Members are encouraged to attend the second day, although attendance is not mandatory.

    Cancellation Policy
    • Up To 14 days prior to program start date, $75.00 cancellation fee.
    • 7 - 13 days prior to program start date, $95.00 cancellation fee.
    • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.
      Transfer Policy
    • Up To 15 days prior to program start date, $50.00 transfer fee.
    • 7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $75.00 transfer fee.
    • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, no transfer allowed.
       
    Cancellations
    All cancellations must be submitted writing via e-mail at nancy@ncappraisalinstitute.org or by fax at 336-297-9055. Confirmed participants should not assume that cancellation has been granted until confirmation has been received. No refunds 7 days or less prior to event.

    The North Carolina Chapter Appraisal Institute is not responsible for students' non-refundable airline reservations or other travel costs.

    The Chapter reserves the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the program and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time.

    Materials will be sent directly to your mailing address via UPS within four (4) weeks of the event, unless it is 10 business days or less until the event.
    Please do not forget to bring them with you to class!!

    Attendance Policy
    The Appraisal Institute requires full attendance (100%) at the course. If attendance is less than 100%, your certificate may reflect this.
    The North Carolina Appraisal Board requires 90% attendance or better for CE credit.
