  Description
Are you a problem solver? What happens when your clients needs something more than an estimate of value?

Clients are becoming increasingly sophisticated and demanding services that go beyond traditional valuation. Are you equipped to provide this new level of professional counsel? Recent changes to USPAP give appraisers greater flexibility in resolving client problems than anytime in the past. Are you aware of the differences between consulting that does not fall under USPAP and appraisal consulting that includes a valuation component? During this seminar, you’ll learn how to develop new outlets for doing business.

You’re sitting on a wealth of knowledge that your clients are willing to pay for. You just don’t know it yet. At this dynamic seminar, learn how to develop new skills outside the traditional valuation methods. If you desire a consulting practice, you must begin now to implement a strategic plan.

At the conclusion of this seminar, you will be able to
  • Combine and separate four types of services to solve client problems.

  • Distinguish between appraisal consulting and real property consulting.

  • Identify seven key components of a consulting assignment.

  • Initiate a consulting plan.

  • See client problems from multiple perspectives beyond appraisal valuation.

  • Discern between consulting assignments that are task-and process-orientated.

  • Design questions to clarify client real estate problems.

  • Develop initial marketing strategies for a consulting practice.
