Speakers:
Jim Amorin, MAI, SRA served as President Elect of the Appraisal Institute in 2009. He has been actively involved with the Appraisal Institute since 1993
serving in the areas of Admissions, Finance, Audit and Education. He has developed and taught seminars and courses for the Appraisal Institute for both classroom and
online experiences, and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Green Building Finance Consortium.
Jim is a frequent public speaker with recent audiences ranging from the Appraisal Institute, the American Society of Appraisers, Valuation 2005, and the International Right of Way Association. His works have been published in the Valuation (formerly Valuation Insights and Perspectives) magazine of the Appraisal Institute.
Jim serves as Vice President of Atrium Real Estate Services in Austin, Texas specializing in real estate and appraisal consulting assignments throughout the state.
There, his practice consists of significant right-of-way, eminent domain, and consulting assignments as well as complex commercial appraisals for lenders throughout
the United States.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Development; he is also currently certified in the state of Texas with numerous other state certifications held over the years.
J. Wiltz Cutrer, Jr., is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and owner of TechKnolutions, LLC, Wiltz Cutrer has more than 20 years in the
information technology (IT) field. TechKnolutions, LLC provides networking, security auditing, system repair, and technology consulting along with Continuing
Professional Education (CPE) courses to professionals across the nation.
Wiltz started his IT career in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician (CTM). Currently he serves as network systems manager for the Mississippi Development
Authority, applying his experience to more than just the datacenter. He has spoken at several conferences on the effective implementation and utilization of
technology. Additionally, he founded (and is current president of) the Mississippi Technology Users Group (MSTUG), which unites IT employees for the promotion of
efficiency in digital solutions.
Wiltz also has extensive teaching experience. As a certified residential real estate appraiser he applies his technology skills to the appraisal process, also
sharing his IT understanding with fellow appraisers to help them benefit from the technology available today.
R. Wayne Pugh, MAI, CRE, is the CEO of R. Wayne Pugh and Company, a real estate consulting and appraisal firm founded in Baton Rouge in 1975. He is
a graduate of LSU holding a degree in Real Estate Finance. Mr. Pugh is also the CEO and founder of Software for Real Estate Professionals, where his firm has developed
residential appraisal software for the past 27 years. From 2006-2009, Mr. Pugh had the honor to serve as an officer of the Appraisal Institute where in he served as
national President in 2008. Many appraisers also know Mr. Pugh as the author of the Cool Tools column for Valuation magazine. In recent years, Mr. Pugh also has the honor of serving on the Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board
Mr. Pugh is a principal member of RECGA, a national organization of analysts and academicians founded by the late William N. Kinnard, Ph.D.
