Jim Amorin, MAI, SRA has been engaged in the real estate appraisal and consulting arena since 1988. He has been actively involved in the admissions area since 1993. In addition to serving as Chair of the Demonstration Appraisal Grading Panel and as member of the 2005-2008 Audit Committee, Mr. Amorin is an approved instructor for several seminars and courses and recently developed three seminars for the Appraisal Institute.
He currently serves as Vice Chair of Region VIII as a member of the Board of Directors of the Appraisal Institute.
Mr. Amorin is Vice President of Atrium Real Estate Services in Austin, Texas specializing in real estate and appraisal consulting assignments. He is also a frequent public speaker with recent audiences ranging from the Appraisal Institute, the American Society of Appraisers, and Lorman Education Services. He has also been published in the Valuation Insights and Perspectives magazine of the Appraisal Institute.
