William N. Kinnard, Jr., MAI, SRA, CRE, Ph.D. was a leading real estate researcher, teacher, and practitioner for over four decades. This volume contains seven original essays written in his honor, reprints of some of his classic articles, and personal reflections from former students, colleagues, and friends. The original essays cover valuation theory, the definition of market value, market analysis, the appraisal process, the role of the appraiser as an expert witness, valuation of properties with environmental contamination, and international real estate issues. The book also offers reprints of 11 of Kinnard's most influential papers, which are classics in real estate education. Publication of this title is sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, the RICS Foundation and the American Society of Real Estate.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to support an endowed chair at the University of Connecticut in honor of Dr. Kinnard. This is a great way to provide lasting recognition for Dr. Kinnard, both in your own library and through the University of Connecticut.
