Associate Member Definition: An Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute is an individual who engages in activity governed by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and who may be pursuing an Appraisal Institute professional membership designation. Associate members are required to abide by the Appraisal Institute's Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Practice.
