Trainee Associate Membership is for those who hold an appraiser trainee license or equivalent from a governmental regulatory agency.

Associate Membership is for those who perform work identified by the Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (such as USPAP or IVS) and those with an interest in pursuing the prestigious MAI or SRA designation.

Affiliate Membership is for professionals in allied industries and college students who do not perform work identified by the standards of professional practice, yet share in the interests and concerns of the appraisal profession.
