Appraising Around the Globe
Real estate and capital markets have globalized at an astonishing pace over the last decade, transcending geographic boundaries and cultural barriers. As a direct result, demand for ethical, well-educated appraisers has risen around the world.
Given the universal demand for highly qualified valuation professionals, the Appraisal Institute continually seeks out opportunities to train and educate appraisers in every part of the world. Our education programs have expanded to Asia, Europe and Middle East and our membership reflects a global community, with active members in over 30 countries.
In addition, the Appraisal Institute is actively involved in regional and international real estate federations, including the International Valuation Standards Committee (IVSC), the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the Union of Pan-American Valuation Organizations (UPAV), the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and the European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGoVA).
