Susan B. Brecht is president of Brecht Associates, Inc. in Philadelphia, a firm providing consulting services to the retirement housing industry. Ms. Brecht is the author of Retirement Housing Market: Project Planning and Feasibility Analysis and co-author of Housing for Seniors: Developing Successful Projects, published by the Urban Land Institute. Clifford J. Dowd is an associate with Sedway Group, a San Francisco-based real estate and urban economics consulting firm.
