About the Author

Mark R. Rattermann, MAI, SRA, is a real estate appraiser and agent in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has a bachelor of science degree from the Indiana University School of Business and has worked in the real estate industry since 1979. He has written seven books about real estate and appraisals, some of which have been translated into Korean, Greek, and other languages. He also writes a biannual column on residential topics for The Appraisal Journal. Mark has lectured on a variety of real estate topics in 45 states and four foreign countries. He has written 15 real estate training seminars for online and classroom presentation.
