2021 Annual Conference Hotel and Travel Info

Hotel Information

The 2021 Annual Conference will be held at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. Please reference the "COVID-19 updates and what to expect at our hotel" link on their homepage for all COVID-related protocols. Consistent with the most recent CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. Unvaccinated guests are asked to continue to wear masks and practice social distancing when in public spaces inside the hotel. Hotel associates are currently still required to wear masks.

The Appraisal Institute block of rooms are SOLD OUT some nights of the conference. Reservation availability can be checked by clicking here. The JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes is offering a discount on daily self-parking rates as well. Originally $30, Appraisal Institute's negotiated rate is $15. Additionally, the JW Marriott Orlando is happy to provide Appraisal Institute attendees "Happy Hour" pricing in the JW Lobby Lounge and Whisper Creek Farm-The Kitchen. Show your conference name badge Saturday, August 7th - Wednesday, August 11th to receive $2 off draft beers, $2 off cask (draft) wine and a $12 custom cocktail created just for the AI group.

Travel Information

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is located 10 miles from the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. Drive time between the airport and the hotel is about 15 minutes one way. The hotel does not offer any type of shuttle service, however there is Mears Shuttle Service, Uber, Lyft, Wingz, and local taxis.
