Dallas Museum of ArtLocated in the Dallas Arts District, the Dallas Museum of Art houses a stunning collection with more than 22,000 pieces, spanning the third millennium BC to present day, including ancient Mediterranean art, 18th-20th century European and American art and art of the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Pacific. The museum has lots of programming for kids of all ages, and after-hour events for adults that includes a lecture series with authors, poets and visionaries.

 

 

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy; interprets the Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza; and presents contemporary culture within the context of presidential history. The museum is located in the former Texas School Book Depository where significant evidence of a sniper was found following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Boulevardier is a neighborhood bistro located in the historic Bishop Arts District offering house made bistro fare and modern takes on French classics. Recommended menu items are the crawfish beignets, Legs and Eggs, and oysters.

 Inspired by his Naples-born great-grandfather Angelo Pasquale Carbone, Julian Barsotti created Carbone’s Fine Food & Wine, an Italian-American joint in Dallas, located in the Park Cities neighborhood. Barsotti creates must-try classics such as spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, linguine with shrimp scampi, and grilled sausage and cannellini beans.

Explore Sports and the Outdoors

AT&T Stadium is the home of the Dallas Cowboys and the world’s largest domed structure. With AT&T Stadium Tours, you can see not only the Cowboys’ and cheerleaders’ locker rooms and post-game interview room, but experience art displayed throughout the stadium.

Just minutes from downtown, The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden provides rotating displays four times a year, delivering breathtaking colors for guests every time they visit.

The store is located in the historic West End in an old redbrick building dating back from the 1800s. Wild Bill's has everything western: boots, hats, clothing, belts, buckles and handmade jewelry. Wild Bill's can even make custom cowboy boots!
