About the Role:
As our Director of Communications and Marketing, you serve as a strategic partner to our CEO and board to drive our vision forward. You'll leverage multimedia channels to engage and inspire our constituents and set the stage for AI’s strategic business objectives, ensuring that every message resonates with our members and the broader public.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead with Vision: Craft and execute compelling communication strategies that align with AI’s goals.
- Content Strategist: Develop a cohesive content plan that ensures all materials are targeted, relevant, and impactful.
- Digital Dynamo: Manage our website, social media, and public outreach to maximize engagement and visibility.
- Media Relations Pro: Build strong relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders to amplify our message.
- Trend Spotter: Stay ahead of industry trends and audience preferences, using insights to inform our content approach.
- Performance Tracker: Analyze content performance and campaigns to guide future initiatives and drive success.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with all departments to ensure a consistent and powerful message across all channels.
- Mentor & Manage: Lead and develop a talented team of marketing and communications professionals.
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field and at least 10 years of professional experience in communications and content management.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects with precision and creativity.
- You possess a keen understanding of organizational dynamics and have excellent political intuition.
- Not-for-profit experience or public relations agency experience is a plus, along with familiarity with editing software.
