Appraisal Institute Media Coverage Potentially Seen by 2B in 2017
Media coverage of the Appraisal Institute and its professionals in 2017 was potentially seen, read about or heard more than 2.3 billion times, resulting in a publicity value of nearly $4.5 million, the Appraisal Institute announced Feb. 2.
AI and its individuals appeared in 2,589 stories that ran in 688 different newspapers, magazines, online media outlets, television and radio newscasts, trade publications and other traditional media venues. This coverage generated 2,316,284,008 impressions (defined as the number of times a story may have been seen, read or heard). The coverage resulted in a publicity value of $4,484,988 (according to a third-party vendor's proprietary formula).
The Appraisal Institute and its professionals regularly appeared in national media coverage in 2017: daily newspapers including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times; national broadcast outlets including National Public Radio Show; magazines such as Forbes, Builder and U.S. News & World Report; and online outlets including CNBC.com, Bloomberg and Yahoo! Finance. AI and its professionals also were featured in local media, appearing in statewide newspapers, on local radio stations and network affiliate television newscasts across the country.
