    Basics of PV Solar Valuation

Basics of PV Solar Valuation is a two-hour course intended to teach the basics of PV solar. Presenter Sean Sargeant, MAI, SRA will begin by explaining the different types of assemblies used to convert solar energy into heat or power, go through the basic operation of a PV solar array and how an array creates value through the regular production of power over its use life, and show through examples how to employ all three approaches to value – Sales Comparison Approach, Income Approach and Cost Approach. This two-hour seminar is not meant to make an appraiser competent in the valuation of PV Solar Arrays, as additional education/experience will be required; however, it will introduce the basics for further exploration of the subject matter.

Time is reserved for questions and answers/discussion at the end.
