    This course has been approved by The Minnesota Department of Commerce for (6) hours of appraisal continuing education.

    On-site walk-in registration will NOT be accepted.

    8 am registration

    8:30 am start time

    Class runs from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with the test starting at 3:30 pm

    The student handbook is provided as an electronic download when you register. You can purchase a hard copy if you prefer at time of registration. Either way, you must bring your student handbook (electronic or hardcopy) with you to class. None will be available at the classroom site.

    This course includes the Minnesota specific content and is approved for appraisal credit in Minnesota.

    Supervisory Appraisers may need to re-take this course every few years as dictated by state law.

    Several states require a Supervisory Appraiser/Trainee Appraiser Course that contains state-specific material not covered in this course. Those states include, but may not be limited to, AR, IA, KY, ME, MN, MT, NC, NE, OH, OR, SD, TX, UT, and WV. In most cases, the local chapters have added the necessary materials to comply with their state’s requirements, but offerings taken out-of-state may not satisfy another state’s requirements. Attending this course in-state is highly recommended, and it is imperative that participants confirm approval by contacting their state regulatory agency.     For individuals who need to pass an exam to meet state requirements, a 1-hour exam concludes the course.

    You will be asked to clear the calculator's memory before and after the examination. Only one calculator is permitted in the testing room. Examinees taking most AI exams may bring their own calculator to use during the exam. Laptops, cellular phones, tablets, iPads, wearable technology (smart watch, Apple Watch, Google Glass, etc.), and other devices that can store data or connect to the Internet are NOT permitted during the exam. In addition, all watches, wallets, bags, and purses must be removed and stored out of reach prior to taking the exam.
    Course Description
    All individuals who become Supervisory Appraisers and Trainee Appraisers will be required to take a Supervisory/Trainee Course per the 2015 Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria. This four-hour course will address the national minimum requirements, responsibilities, and expectations for Trainee Appraisers and Supervisory Appraisers that are included in the AQB’s required course outline
     
    Important Note:
    Several states require a Supervisory Appraiser/Trainee Appraiser Course that contains state-specific material not covered in this course. As this course does not contain state-specific material, it is not approved for credit in those states.     Florida licensee are required to take the Supervisory Appraiser/Trainee Appraiser Course in the state of Florida via classroom format to receive credit.
