Photo ID Required to Complete Your Registration
Please send a copy of your Driver's License or Photo ID to lisa@norcal-ai.org.  Feel free to cover any personal information with the exception of your photo and printed name. Quick Tip:  Cover personal information with cut-to-size Post-it-Notes or via electronic means before taking a photo with your phone or scanning.  Registrants will not be sent the ZOOM log-in link unless their DL/Photo ID is received in advance.  In the subject line of your email type "DL -  [enter your last name] - USPAP Dec 2025" before submitting.  ID's should be submitted to the Chapter Office immediately upon completing this online registration.

Program Hours
Online check-in will begin at 8:00am on Tuesday, December 9.  Instruction will run from 8:30am – 4:30pm (Pacific Time) and will be conducted using ZOOM as the interactive learning platform.  The early check-in allows for system checks and networking. There is no exam associated with this offering.

All materials for this offering are available for purchase directly from The Appraisal Foundation.

• 2024 USPAP Standards 1-10 (Most registrants will already have a copy of this document from their prior renewal period)

Those relying on downloadable materials or access to USPAP, are strongly encouraged to pre-download and print these documents or perhaps view them on a secondary device during the synchronous presentation.

Required Equipment 
This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM).  It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - dependable Internet access, computer with webcam, speakers and microphone.  Some registrants may find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction.  Cell phones are better used only as a secondary rather than primary viewing device.

ZOOM Links and Assistance
The ZOOM link will be sent within 24-48 hours of the offering ONLY to confirmed registrants who have provided their Photo ID/DL in advance.

• Take a FREE tutorial on How to Join a Meeting and learn more about using this interactive platform.  
• Be sure that your version of ZOOM is up-to-date.

Education Credit Hours
Those who check into the interactive platform late, leave early or are not visible during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize receipt of credit.

Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 35 AI CEC points.  This course is just one of the programs AI professionals have to complete to meet their AI Standards requirement.  Other offerings may include Business Practices and Ethics and/or USPAP 15-Hour. 

BREA Continuing: 2026-27 7-Hour National USPAP CE has been submitted to the CA BREA for 7-hours of California BREA CEC.  Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance requirement.  

BREA Basic/Qualifying: 2026-27 7-Hour National USPAP CE is not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.

If you are seeking credit for this NEW offering from a state outside of California, check with your state licensing board(s) to make sure an out-of-state synchronous (formerly called virtual) offering of this NEW 2026-27 version will be accepted before registering.  It is best to speak directly with a representative from your board rather than relying on information posted to the web.  Note: Some states outside of California may have additional reporting requirements that the chapter is not able to comply with.

Attendance Verification Process
Verified attendance certificates will be available for downloading within 15 working days of the offering

• Logging into My Account www.appraisalinstitute.org; select the green Login tab
• Select EDUCATION
• Click on the specific offering that you are seeking the certificate for; it will show REGISTERED
• Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to (1) COMPLETE EVALUATION FORM and (2) RETRIEVE CERTIFICATE
  
  

Note:  Effective 10/01/19 students will be able to access their attendance certificates 24/7 through the Appraisal Institute's netFORUM association management program.  The Northern California Chapter does not have direct access to certificates for programs held after this time. Any issues in retrieving certificates should be brought directly to the attention of the Appraisal Institute's Education Delivery Department at 312/335-4207 or education@appraisalinstitute.org.

Confirmation Emails and Payment Receipts

All confirmed registrants will receive a payment receipt plus a separate confirmation by email on they day you submit your online registration.  Be sure that you can accept emails from each of the following email addresses:

Effective January 1, 2024; This is not a typo as USPAP itself has not been updated

• Students may choose to purchase either a digital or print versions of these materials directly from The Appraisal Foundation Store

• This new 2026-27 release has been submitted to the California BREA for 7-hours of CEC

• If you are seeking credit for 2026-27 7-Hour  National USPAP CE  from a state outside of California, check with your state licensing board to make sure that it will grant approval for (1) an out-of-state synchronous (formerly called "virtual") classroom offering, (2) accepts reciprocal credit if approved in the host state and/or (3) accepts offerings from an out-of-state provider prior to registering. This is a nationally developed Appraisal Institute program so credit may be available in other states.  However, some states outside of California may have additional reporting requirements that the chapter is not able comply with.  Not all states have approved this NEW 2026-27 release.  There is NO examination required for this synchronous offering.
  
  
• Photo IDs.   As part of the required attendance monitoring for synchronous classroom offerings, all students need to provide the Chapter Office - lisa@norcal-ai.org with a copy of their Photo ID/Driver's License upon registering. Type "DL - [ insert your last name] – USPAP 2025 Dec" in the subject line before sending.   IDs need to be submitted even if you have attended a prior chapter-sponsored offering.
