You'll gain a solid understanding of the history of AI, its building blocks, and the reasons why AI is becoming increasingly essential in data analysis. It also dives into the concept of generative AI and its potential benefits for appraisers.     Please send a copy of your Driver's License or Photo ID to lisa@norcal-ai.org.  Feel free to cover any personal information with the exception of your photo and printed name. Quick Tip:  Cover personal information with cut-to-size Post-it-Notes or via electronic means before taking a photo with your phone or scanning.  Registrants will not be sent the ZOOM log-in link unless their DL/Photo ID is received in advance.  In the subject line of your email type "DL -  [enter your last name] AIBC May 2026" before submitting.  ID's should be submitted to the Chapter Office  lisa@norcal-ai.org immediately upon completing this online registration.


    Program Hours and Materials
    Online check-in will begin at 8:00am on Monday, May 11.  Instruction will run from 8:30am – 4:30pm (Pacific Time) and will be conducted using ZOOM as the interactive learning platform.  There is no exam associated with this offering.  

    Beginning 4 weeks prior to the offering, all students will have access to the downloadable course materials. If you would like hardcopy (printed) materials sent to you in advance, both a print fee of $25 (subject to change) and a shipping fee (TBD) apply. [Note: Shipping fee is calculated at the time of online check-out.]

    Required Equipment 
    This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM).  It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - dependable Internet access, computer with webcam, speakers and microphone.  Some registrants may find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction.  Cell phones are better used only as a secondary rather than primary viewing device.

    Attendance Verification Process Effective 10/01/19
    Verified attendance certificates will be available for downloading within 15 working days of the offering

    • Logging into MyAccount portal www.appraisalinstitute.org; select the green tab
    • Select EDUCATION
    • Click on the specific offering that you are seeking the certificate for; it will show REGISTERED
    • Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to (1) COMPLETE EVALUATION FORM and (2) RETRIEVE / PRINT CERTIFICATE

    Note:  Effective 10/01/19 students will be able to access their attendance certificates 24/7 through the Appraisal Institute's netFORUM association management program.  The Northern California Chapter does not have direct access to certificates for programs held after this time. Any issues in retrieving certificates should be brought directly to the attention of the Appraisal Institute's Education Delivery Department at 312/335-4207 or education@appraisalinstitute.org.

    Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications
    Those who check in late, leave early or are not visible during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize receipt of credit.

    Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 35 AI CEC points.  

    BREA Continuing:  Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Metaverse: Implications for Valuation has been approved by the BREA (#23CP754601551) for 7-hours of CEC. Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance requirement.  

    BREA Basic/QualifyingArtificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Metaverse: Implications for Valuation is not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.

    Cancellations
    Written cancellations received by Monday, April 27 are subject to a $30 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after that time but prior to noon on Monday, May 4, are subject to a $40 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations received after May 4 or for program "no shows".     We reserve the right to substitute instructors, or to cancel or modify this program (adjust format) if sufficient registrations are not received by April 13 or due to other circumstances beyond our control.
