Heritage is a hunting lodge. Optional activities are available. SEE BOTTOM

Heritage encompasses 34,000 acres which is accessed by traveling down a 10 mile shell road. There are two different ways to access Heritage. One from the west near Kenansville and the other from the north at Deer Park. Both access points require driving through other privately owned properties. You will travel past several homesteads, livestock and wild game on the way to Heritage. Please slow down, maintain the posted speed limits and enjoy the scenery along the way. Safety is our primary objective and by adhering to some simple guidelines you will be assured to have an exceptional experience. Heritage and the surrounding properties are active cattle operations. It’s not uncommon to come upon cowboys on horses moving a large herds of cattle down the main road. If this occurs, please slow down and wait for the cowboys to provide hand signals and directions. Be prepared to put your vehicle in park and wait until they have successfully completed their task. This will show courtesy which is greatly appreciated by the cowboys and the ranch.

    OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

For those of you who are shooting enthusiasts there will be a five stand clays course for an additonal fee

after the class ends on Thursday May 2nd. The shoot will be operated by a gun range/gun safety expert

from The Heritage Club and will likely last approximately 2 hours. The range is located in close proximity

to the venue, like within walking distance however, transportation will be arranged. The $30

participation fee will include the use of the range and the clays. It does not include the gun and/or shells.

There will be a limited supply of guns available to rent at the facility and shells for purchase (20 Guage).

Otherwise, we encourage you to bring your own shotgun and shells. Please bring shells with number 7.5

shot or higher (#8 shot is ideal and easiest to purchase). Contact Tom Richards to RSVP or more information at tom@richardsappraisal.com
