Q3 2026 HONOREES
Each quarter, we celebrate members whose dedication strengthens our community. This quarter's honorees were selected for their outstanding service to their chapters and communities, the Appraisal Institute, and the appraisal profession.
Beth L. Graham
Great Lakes Chapter, Region III
Beth was selected for her longstanding commitment to chapter leadership, and advocacy for residential appraisers. She serves on the Great Lakes Chapter Board, teaches Michigan law and has consistently helped identify and develop education that supports residential practitioners. Beth has also served in leadership roles on the National Association of Realtors Real Property Valuation Committee. Most recently, she testified before a Michigan Senate committee in support of legislation requiring an appraisal before certain properties under conservatorship can be sold, helping achieve an important win for both appraisers and consumer protection.
Brian Crowder
MAI, SRA
North Carolina Chapter, Region V
Brian was selected for his wide-ranging service to the Appraisal Institute, the North Carolina Chapter and his community. He has held leadership roles at the chapter, regional and national levels, including serving on the AI Education and Relief Foundation Board and leading the chapter’s Commercial and Residential Real Estate Valuation Conferences. Through those conferences, he helped create sponsorships that allowed more than 60 students and trainees to attend at no cost. Brian also mentors aspiring appraisers, builds relationships with other real estate organizations and supports his community through the High Point YMCA, where his fundraising efforts have generated more than $100,000 for scholarships and mentorship programs.
Jenn Simmonson

San Diego Chapter, Region VII
Jennifer was selected for her work to strengthen engagement within the Southern California Chapter and build connections across the profession. As chapter president, she has created opportunities for appraisers to connect through networking events, partnerships with other organizations and outreach to universities. She has also represented the profession through speaking engagements and her work at the university level. Jennifer’s efforts have helped expand the chapter’s reach while making it easier for members, students and other appraisal professionals to become involved.
Jeff Miller

Atlanta Area Chapter, Region IX
Jeff was selected for decades of leadership and service to the Appraisal Institute and the appraisal profession. He has served the Atlanta Area Chapter in nearly every major leadership role, including president, board member, regional representative and committee chair. Jeff has also mentored trainee appraisers throughout his career. His volunteer serviced extend into his community through church leadership, youth programs, grief support and nonprofit board service.
Brad Hevenor
MAI
Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine Chapter, Region IV
Brad was selected for his sustained leadership within the Appraisal Institute and his service to the profession in Rhode Island. His volunteer experience includes serving as president of the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine Chapter, a Region IV representative and chair of the Rhode Island Branch Advisory Board. He has also supported advocacy related to green construction, net-zero-energy homes, solar valuation and energy-efficient financing. Beyond AI, Brad serves on local and state regulatory boards, including as vice chair of the Rhode Island Real Estate Appraisers Board.
