How National Committee Appointments Work—and How You Can Get Involved
In addition to elected leadership roles, AI relies on volunteers across dozens of committees, panels, and project teams that help carry out the mission of the Appraisal Institute. Serving on a committee is one of the most impactful ways to share your expertise, contribute to the profession, and build lasting connections with other appraisers from across the country. Whether you're new to volunteering or a long-time contributor, consider raising your hand and get involved.
The Call for Volunteers for the 2026 Appraisal Institute Committee Term is now open!
To be considered for a seat on next year's committee rosters, all interested volunteers must complete the Leadership Resource Registry (LRR) by August 31, 2025. As we continue to grow and strengthen our volunteer community, we encourage you to complete your personal information within your AI member account, including as much demographic information as you are comfortable sharing. This helps us make informed, inclusive committee selections that reflect the depth of our profession. We greatly value the unique skills and experience each volunteer brings — please click the “additional information" button on the LRR to indicate the areas where you feel you can best contribute to AI's committees and initiatives.
