The MD Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking to add to our approved appraiser list. Interested parties should hold the MAI designation, although those with a Certified General license will also be considered. Specifically, the Program Open Space unit of DNR’s Land Acquisition and Planning department requires appraisals of potential property acquisitions for addition to the State Park system, new protected units, or other State uses. While most of the subject properties are large, raw land parcels, assignments may also include improved properties, partial acquisitions, conservation easements, etc. To be approved, appraisers must be in good standing with the State of Maryland and a certified small business.
