    CONTINUING EDUCATION
Earn up to 12-hours of CEC if attending both days!  Our 2025 Lake Tahoe Conference is approved for 60 points of Appraisal Institute CEC if attending both Day 1 and Day 2.  Applications are being submitted for 12-hours of CEC if attending both days to the California BREA, Nevada NRED and the California State Board of Equalization for Training Credit for Assessors.  Approvals from BREA, NRED and SBE are currently pending.  Full 100% attendance is required; those who arrive late or leave during scheduled instruction will jeopardize receipt of credit.  Some states including Hawaii, Washington, Idaho and Alaska may offer reciprocal credit.  ASA, ASFMRA and IRWA also generally offer reciprocal credit for Appraisal Institute offerings.  Check with your state board and/or organization(s) directly before registering.  NOTE: SBE now offers pre-approvals but no longer issues / requires CAR numbers.

Seeking Credit from Other States? It is up to the registrant to check with his/her state licensing board(s) prior to registering to ensure that his/her state accepts (1) credit from an out-of-state provider and/or (2) determine if his/her state accepts reciprocal credit with California.  Some states may have special reporting requirements that the chapter is not able to comply with.

Registrants should be sure their appraiser license/certification numbers are entered correctly in the AI registration (MyAccount) portal in advance or a certificate will not be generated.
License numbers are listed under Profile in your AI Student Portal (MyAccount) or can be added as “Other” License.  Verified attendance certificates will be available for download from your AI MyAccount portal within 15-working days after the conclusion of the program.  Exception:  California SBE certificates are uploaded directly from SBE; assessors should allow a minimum of 15-working days after the conclusion of the offering for posting.  SBE no longer issues CAR numbers.
