The overall objectives for the Appraisal Institute’s 2026-2027 7-Hour National USPAP^® Continuing Education Course are identified below:

1. Participants will be able to recognize the principles and requirements of USPAP.
2. Participants will understand USPAP in the context of current and common issues.
3. Participants will be able to use the USPAP publication to solve day-to-day appraisal practice problems.  

More specifically, once you complete this course, you will be able to:

• Understand that USPAP definitions establish the application of certain terminology for specific use in USPAP.

• Apply USPAP in common professional scenarios, ensuring compliance with ethical obligations.

• Use the 2024 USPAP and 2026 USPAP GUIDANCE AND REFERENCE MANUAL (GRM) to work through case studies.

• Use problem-solving skills using interactive case study discussions, focusing on applicable USPAP requirements.

• Strengthen your ability to identify ethics-related concerns, such as conflicts of interest, bias, and impartiality.
