    Course Description

The Appraisal Institute's online 2026-2027 7-Hour Equivalent USPAP® Continuing Education Course is designed for the practicing appraiser who is already aware of the structure and requirements of USPAP. The goal of this course is to build on that awareness and deepen your understanding of USPAP.

The course is divided into six teaching modules to cover the content required by The Appraisal Foundation (TAF). Our Appraisal Institute online equivalent version follows the required topical content determined by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation. The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) continues its tradition of emphasizing practical applications of USPAP in real world settings. TAF strongly believes that appraisers and other professionals need to know how to find answers to their questions using USPAP and other materials. This course will explore how real property appraisers can use these resource tools to search the 2024 USPAP document and the 2026 USPAP Guidance and Reference Manual to better enhance USPAP skills.

Throughout the course, you will explore how USPAP requirements guide appraisal development and ethical decision-making.
