    Course Description

This introductory course provides appraisers with foundational knowledge and practical skills for leveraging artificial intelligence in their business operations. Through live demonstrations and clear instruction, participants will learn to set up, use, and optimize AI tools (primarily ChatGPT) for research, communication, analysis, and strategic planning. The course emphasizes practical business applications for residential and commercial appraisers starting at any AI experience level.

If you’ve ever thought, “AI sounds useful, but I don’t have time to figure it out,” this class is built for you. This is a practical, live-demo workshop focused on how appraisers can use ChatGPT and other AI models as a productivity tool while protecting confidentiality and maintaining professional judgment.

What you’ll learn, with appraiser-relevant demos

    • How to set up ChatGPT for professional use (desktop and mobile), plus simple personalization that saves time
    • Prompting that produces usable output, not fluffy nonsense
    • Faster writing and tighter communication: emails, client updates, engagement and follow-up language
    • Research support and analysis: organizing market notes, building clearer narratives, stress-testing assumptions
    • Business building: repeatable workflows (SOPs), checklists, templates, and strategic planning support
    • Ethics and risk controls: what not to share, how to verify, and how to stay compliant and credible

You’ll leave with tools you can reuse immediately

    • ChatGPT Quick Start Guide for Appraisers
    • AI Prompt Template Library (10–15 appraisal business examples)
    • Recommended AI tools and resources list
    • Certificate of Completion (after attendance and CE requirements are met)
