AI in the Agentic Era for Appraisers in the Pacific Northwest

This class moves appraisers from using AI as a chatbot to orchestrating AI agents that do production appraisal work. We open with the USPAP guardrails that govern AI use, then ground everyone in the Claude Desktop app and the difference between its Chat,Cowork, and Code modes. From there we define what "agentic" AI really means and why it is a step change beyond the chat most appraisers know. We show how an agent is built, then demonstrate several working appraisal agents live, and finish wiht a full orchestration that drafts an entire appraisal report up to the approaches to value with no human intervention. Throughout, we hold a clear line on where the appraiser's judgement and review stay non-negotiable.
