Appraiser's Guide to the New URAR

Delivery:

This course will be offered HYBRID (both in person and virtually simultaneously). Students can choose to attend either way. THIS REGISTRATION PAGE IS FOR VIRTUAL/SYNCHRONOUS REGISTRATION ONLY. Please see the course catalogue for our In Person Registration option.

ZOOM Participation Guidelines:

• Students will be required to download Zoom to a laptop, phone or other device with a camera, so that the instructor can see and interact with the student for the duration of the program. The platform will be live and interactive.
• Students will be required to upload a copy of their photo identification, i.e. driver’s license, no later than 4:00pm on October 6, 2026 using the new Appraisal Institute state ID collection program*. Please log into your Appraisal Institute account, select the Education and Events section and upload a copy of your state ID. For more information, you can see the How to Upload a Photo ID video tutorial.
  *This is a one-time process; if you have already uploaded your photo ID for a previous class, you do not have to do it again.
• Only those students who provide the photo identification and virtually attend the program in its entirety will receive a certificate of completion.

Virtual Education Exception

This program is approved in New York State.

Please note that not all states may have approved virtual education. Some of those states that have approved virtual education have specific requirements and understand that the Long Island Chapter’s virtual offering may NOT be approved in those states.

You, as registrant, MUST CHECK individual states for approval. Registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the Program. The Appraisal Institute is not responsible if credit is not available for the Program in individual states. Please note: State exceptions for virtual education may expire PRIOR to the offering date.

Appraisal Institute and New York State Continuing Education Credit:

APPROVED for 7.0 Hours of (1) Appraisal Institute CE and (2) NYS RE Appraiser Continuing Education credit

Course Attendance: One hundred percent (100%) attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Credit and a course completion certificate can only be issued by attending 100% of the course.

Continuing Education: Please be advised that at this time continuing education credit has been approved by the Appraisal Institute and New York State for this offering. While the AQB has approved this seminar for 7 hours of CE, some states may have not. Please check with your state regulatory office.

(2) Registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the program.
