    Course Description

Within the State of New Hampshire, approximately 83 percent of our land is forested and private ownership accounts for the majority of forestland – approximately 73 percent.  An additional 7.25 percent of New Hampshire’s landscape is in private farmland. These larger parcels of land contain natural resources that are important to understand to value land more accurately. One way to visualize the natural resources found on a property, where they occur and how they relate to each other and nearby development is through available online mapping tools. This program is intended to teach appraisers how to use these available online mapping tools to help inform property valuation.
