NJ Appraiser Law, Regulations N.J.S.A. 45:14F-1, et seq. Real Estate Appraisers Act
In April 2015, the NJ State Appraisal Board passed a regulation that requires all licensees take a mandatory 2 hour course starting in the 2016-17 cycle. This course is part of the 28 hour requirement for continuing education every 2 years and it provides clarity around the Real Estate Appraisers Act passed in 1991.
Purpose: This course is required by NJ regulations every two years. Students will learn about the law itself, the regulations that pertain to the law including specific areas noted in the regulation.
