AI Debuts New URAR Courses, Highlights Resources as Diamond Sponsor at Valuation Expo
As a Diamond Sponsor of Valuation Expo in Las Vegas, the Appraisal Institute showcased new education, advocacy, and business resources to appraisers, lenders, and industry leaders. We debuted two new companion courses in our URAR series – Reporting Market Analysis and Better Understanding the New URAR and Supporting Adjustments and Reporting the Sales Comparison Approach in the New URAR – expanding on The Appraiser’s Guide to the New URAR. Both courses enjoyed strong registration.
2025 President Paula K. Konikoff, JD, MAI, AI-GRS, delivered a featured session “Rooted in Principles, Ready for Change: Thriving as a Residential Appraiser in a Disrupted World,” sharing industry updates and Appraisal Institute resources to position appraisers for success. Appraisal Institute staff also addressed lenders and AMCs to promote the SRA Designated Member Advantage campaign and engaged attendees at the AI booth.
Our Diamond Sponsorship provided high visibility throughout the conference and created strong networking opportunities with members, prospective members, and strategic partners. Interest in associate membership was strong throughout the conference. We also offered two Mastermind sessions with certified business coaches, giving attendees a preview of our new Lunch and Learn series – practical business management programming for appraisal firm owners and operators.
