With more than 60 titles currently in print, including recent editions of The Appraisal of Real Estate and The Dictionary of Real Estate Appraisal, the Appraisal Institute is the world's largest publisher of real estate valuation literature. The Appraisal Journal is the Appraisal Institute’s quarterly peer-reviewed journal. Winner of a Gold Circle Award from The Center for Association Leadership (ASAE), the Journal is recognized as the appraisal profession’s premier technical and academic publication. Nearly 20,000 appraisers and others rely on the Journal for well-researched, innovative and thought-provoking articles on a wide variety of valuation topics.
The Appraisal Institute’s quarterly magazine is mailed to nearly 20,000 valuation professionals, while the digital edition is distributed to more than 36,000 individuals in the valuation profession. In 2012 and 2013 reader surveys, more than 86 percent of those surveyed found Valuation to be of high value, and more than 89 percent said that Valuation is “very essential,” “essential” or “somewhat essential” to their business or to them professionally. Valuation has been honored with international and national awards from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, Trade Association Business Publications International, the League of American Communications Professionals and the Awards for Publication Excellence.
