    Leadership

    Sam Louise, MAI

    Sam Louise

    MAI

    President

Sam Louise is the founder and CEO of Standard Valuation Services (SVS), bringing over two decades of expertise to the commercial real estate appraisal industry.

A recognized leader in valuation and consulting, his professional designations include Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Chicago Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Throughout his career, Sam has established himself as an authority in going-concern valuations, having completed more than 2,000 going-concern appraisals and consultations. Under his leadership, SVS has appraised over $20 billion in assets nationwide, serving a diverse clientele with high-quality valuation consulting, competitive pricing, and a client-first approach that fosters lasting relationships.

Since founding SVS in 2013, Sam has built a highly skilled team of certified appraisers, operating from headquarters in Willowbrook and a Chicago office in the Fulton River District. Together, they help businesses and property owners assess the true value of their assets with integrity, reliability, and the highest level of care.

    John Konrath

    MAI

    Vice President

John Konrath, MAI, is Managing Director, Valuation & Advisory Services at CBRE in the Midwest Region, overseeing valuation operations in Chicago and Milwaukee.  He has over 18 years of experience in the appraisal of commercial real estate on behalf of financial institutions, government agencies, corporations, individual investors and legal firms.
    Andrew Richter, MAI

    Andrew Richter

    MAI

    Treasurer

Andrew has been working as a commercial real estate appraiser for 15 years, but his experience draws from three generations of expertise. He grew up in his grandfather’s office, filing reports, dropping off film, shooting comps, and rubber-cementing pictures into reports. Andrew parlayed those skills (minus the pasting) into his own practice, which he now leads with his father at his side.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis in 2002, with a degree in business and psychology. After graduating, he went to work with his father, and received his certified general appraiser license in 2007. He was designated as an MAI, Member of the Appraisal Institute, in 2014, one of the youngest members to receive the designation.
