    Program Hours

    Onsite system check and check-in will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Synchronous ZOOM Instruction will run from 1:30pm – 4:30pm (Pacific Time).  

    All synchronous attendees are invited to join us immediately following the webinar for a brief Chapter Meeting; just stay on the same ZOOM Link.    

    Required Equipment 
    This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM).  It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - Dependable Internet access, computer with webcam and microphone / speakers.  Some registrants will find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction.

    Materials for this Chapter-Developed offering are not available for download from your Appraisal Institute MyAccount portal.  If materials become available, you will be sent a link to download via email.

    Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications
    Those who check in late, leave early, disappear from their screens or are not in engaged in active learning during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize receipt of credit.

    Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members, Candidates for Designation and Practicing Affiliates to receive 15 AI CEC points.

    BREA ContinuingThe Business behind the Building has been submitted for 3-hours of BREA CEC. Full (100%) attendance required. 

    BREA Basic/QualifyingThe Business behind the Building is not approved for initial Basic / Qualifying Education credit.

    SBE (State Board of Equalization)The Business behind the Building is being submitted to SBE for 3-hours of training credit for assessors who meet the 100% attendance requirement.  Note:  SBE verifications are now submitted directly to the BOE; allow 15 working days post offering.  SBE certificates are not available for download from your Appraisal Institute MyAccount portal.


    This Chapter-Developed offering is not being submitted to states outside of California.  If you are seeking credit for this offering from a state outside of California, check with your state licensing board(s) to make sure an out-of-state SYNCHRONOUS offering will be accepted before registering. It is best to speak directly with a representative from your board rather than relying on information posted to the web. Note: Some states outside of California may have additional reporting requirements that the Chapter is not able to comply with.

    Verified attendance certificates will be available for downloading within 15-working days of the offering

    • Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to (1) RETRIEVE / PRINT CERTIFICATE

    Note: Effective 10/01/19 students will be able to access their attendance certificates 24/7 through the Appraisal Institute's netFORUM association management program. The Northern California Chapter does not have direct access to certificates for programs held after this time. Any issues in retrieving certificates should be brought directly to the attention of the Appraisal Institute's Education Delivery Department at 312/335-4207 or education@appraisalinstitute.org .

    Cancellations
    Written cancellations received by Tuesday, April 21 are subject to a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after that time but prior to noon on Tuesday, April 29, are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations received after April 29 or for program "no shows". Cancellations can be emailed to lisa@norcal-ai.org .

    We reserve the right to substitute instructors, or to cancel or modify this program (adjust hours or location) if sufficient registrations are not received by Tuesday, April 21 or due to other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, tuition fees will be refunded. All other costs incurred are the registrant’s responsibility.
