Course Objectives
● Recognize properties that are the subject of valuation that have the potential to be short-term rental properties;
● Discuss appraisal projects with clients in order to properly develop a Scope of Work;
● Derive a highest and best use analysis to properly set up the valuation methodology and valuation techniques to be employed in the appraisal;
● Identify data sources used by one’s appraisal peers for short-term rentals and how to apply market information in the valuation of the subject property;
● Properly value a short-term rental property and apply a test(s) of reasonableness.

ZOOM Participation Guidelines:Students will be required to download Zoom to a laptop, handheld device or phone that has a camera feature, so that the instructor can see and interact with the student for the duration of the program. The platform will be live and interactive. Students will be required to provide a copy of their photo identification, i.e. driver’s license, to the Chapter office no later than 4:00 pm on JUNE 8, 2025 via email. Only those students who provide the photo identification and “attend” the program in its entirety will receive a certificate of completion.
