Course Description
Wetlands can be present on any parcel. The course is designed to assist appraisers with addressing wetlands in the appraisal process. The goal of this course is to teach appraisers how to identify the basic criteria of a wetland, understand which organizations have jurisdiction over wetlands, and what are the laws associated with them. By the end of the presentation, participants will know how to recognize if wetlands will have an impact on the value of a property and what resources are available to find more information for their appraisal

CLASS LOCATION: egis (F/K/A Beam, Longest, Neff) 8320 Craig Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
ATTENDANCE: Please note, lunch and registration will follow the 2nd Quarter Board meeting and run from 12:15PM to 12:30PM with instruction starting PROMPTLY at 12:30PM. Following Appraiser Qualifications Board minimum criteria requirements, 100% ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL APPRAISAL INSTITUTE EDUCATION PROGRAMS. Students should not be late or leave early. Those missing class times may not receive credit once obtain from the State.
* The program is pending approve by the State of Indiana for Real Estate Appraiser Continuing Education.
