Course Description
The new Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) challenges appraisers to deliver a report in a confident manner to clients with a credible analysis that meets the minimum reporting requirements of the Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs). The new URAR requires that support for adjustments be included directly in the appraisal report, so residential practitioners need to understand the expectations of the GSEs and underwriters around these topics.

Course Objectives
After completing the program, participants will be able to:
- Illustrate the completion of the sales comparison approach in the URAR.
- Identify the proper sequence of adjustments and the typical elements of comparison in the sales comparison approach.
- Explain and demonstrate the comparable selection.
- List the methods for supporting adjustments and opinions.
- Understand how to provide a meaningful reconciliation of various accepted methods and techniques to support an adjustment.
- Apply and explain the comparable weighting.

Enrolled students will receive an email with a link to join the virtual class.
Participation Guidelines: Students must have webcam/iphone/ipad/smartphone capability to participate and receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor. Participants do not need a paid account from ZOOM to participate.
A copy of your driver’s license must be emailed to the Chapter office as verification after you have registered for the offering no later than noon on September 25th via email.
Only those students who provide the photo identification and “attend” the program in its entirety will receive a certificate of completion. Feel free to black out all information except for your name, city, and state. Attendance will be taken using a Zoom poll. We ask that attendees treat this program as they would an in-person offering. Our ability to provide a virtual alternative relies on the attendees’ securing a location that allows for their full attention and interaction. Credit can only be given those attendees who adhere to these requirements.
