MAI Designation Requirements (effective 1/1/2023)
The MAI membership designation is held by professionals who provide a wide range of services on all types of real property related to providing, opinions of value, evaluations, review, consulting and advice on investment decisions, among other things. Property types may include commercial, industrial, agricultural, residential, and vacant land.

SRA Designation Requirements (effective 1/1/2023)
The SRA membership designation is held by professionals who provide a wide range of services for residential properties related to, providing opinions of value, evaluations, reviews, consulting, and advice regarding investment decisions, among other things.

AI-GRS Designation Requirements (effective 1/1/2023)

Candidate Program Equivalencies
Are you a State Certified Assessor, have a credential or designation from another organization, hold an appraisal license from a country outside the United States, graduate from an Appraisal Institute approved master’s degree program, or graduate from an approved undergraduate or graduate degree program approved by the Appraisal Institute or one you would like to have evaluated?

Candidate for Designation Annual Dues
Annual dues are prorated if you join between February and October. Individuals joining after November 1st are charged the full dues for the upcoming year. Dues are subject to change annually.
