The Appraisal Institute offers three ways partipants can enjoy a learning experience that lines up wtih their busy lifestyles.
AI offers more than 75 in-person classroom courses and seminars to help you gain an excellent foundation in fundamental valuation concepts and methodologies, narrow your focus to appraisal specialties such as eminent domain or federal land acquisitions, or just keep up on your CE.

Our classroom education is offered in half-day, one- and two- day, four-day and five-day formats depending on the title.

Required materials are provided.

Classes are presented by an on-site, AI-approved instructor.

Classroom education is available at the national level (Chicago, IL and other locations) or locally by Appraisal Institute chapters across the U.S.

Through AI’s portfolio of more than 65 on-demand education courses, individuals gain the skills and knowledge required to meet Appraisal Institute and state continuing education requirements, fulfill professional development needs, prepare for licensure and/or certification or work toward AI Designation. All at the times that are most convenient for you.

Online programs are self-paced and vary from four to 37 hours.

Modules are self-paced and include online testing.

AI offers 65+ on-demand courses and seminars from which to choose.

On-demand education can also be licensed by corporations, government agencies and associations to meet specific educational needs.

Delivered in a webinar format, AI Live Online Education learners sync up with other online participants via a web browser and a live conference call. Interact with the instructor and your fellow “classmates” as you participate in courses that address today’s “hot” appraisal issues and appraisal business practice topics.
